The Rafa Nadal Academy has announced that it will continue its international expansion with the opening of a tennis center at the Samara Lombok tourist resort in the first quarter of 2028.
The planned facilities will feature four tennis courts and four paddle tennis courts, and will host training programs adapted to all ages with the methodology of the Mallorcan tennis player and his team.
An expanding luxury resort
The Samara Lombok resort, which will become the first "Destination by Hyatt" in Southeast Asia, will initially open with three boutique hotels and 150 villas, within a master plan that contemplates a total of 500 residential villas.
The academy's deputy general director, Maribel Nadal, has expressed her satisfaction with this new center, which will be located in a vacation resort 25 minutes from Lombok international airport surrounded by 150 hectares of land.

Lombok is a destination with enormous international potential and we believe that this project will allow us to bring our methodology and our passion for sport to new generations of players and families from around the world.
International expansion
This facility will join the international network of venues of the Manacor tennis player's company, which has academies in Manacor and Kuwait and tennis complexes in Mexico, Greece, Hong Kong, Marbella, Dominican Republic, Egypt and an upcoming project in Brazil.
The arrival of the Rafa Nadal Academy in Lombok represents an important milestone for the tourist and sports development of the island, positioning it as a premium destination for tennis and luxury lifestyle in Southeast Asia.
